Selected for Prinsjesdag Auction!

We are very excited and happy for our foal Grandin’s Calthago Fly, who have been select for Prinsjesdag Foal Auction in Netherland. We are extra proud over our broodmare Starfly, who have two generations selected for this years auction!

Prinsjesdag Foal Auction set strict requirements concerning the damlines of the foal, during the selection process, and some the best dam lines in the world are represented.
Several riders on top international level, and sponsors have bought their promising stars as foals at the Prinsjesdag Foal Auction, such as the stunning stallion Allicante, ridden by Jérome Guéry.

We are very proud that our beautiful colt Calthago Fly has been selected, and we are extra proud of our fantastic brood mare Starfly (Carthago x Caletto II), who will have two generations at this years Auction.
Starfly’s daughter Zita (Caretino x Carthago) have a colt by Calido I that has been selected.
This stallion foal, by Calido I x Caretino x Carthago, is bread by Hans Jürgen Pöhls in Neumunster, Tyskland.

 


Starfly – Carthago x Caletto II, Holstein stamm 162.

Starfly is sister to several International showjumpers in 1.40 – 1.55 level, and full sister to the dam’s of the Zangersheide approved stallions Clarissimo Z (Clarimo) and A Golden Boy Hero Z. (Aganix Du Seigneur)
Full sister to Chiletto (ISJ 1.50) and half sister to Little Kimba 2 (ISJ 1.50), Alcatraz (ISJ 1.40), Atlantis J (ISJ 1.40) and Voigtsdorfs Quonschbob (ISJ 1.55)

Starfly’s dam is the little brave mare Ulika J, who competed successfully in ISJ 1.60m level under Ulrike Pöhls. One of Ulika and Ulrikes greatest victories was winning the 1.60 Budapest Grand Prix in 1997, and they had more than 130 International wins and placings together.

Starfly’s 2nd Dam is Fangelika, granddam to Cascavelle and 3rd Dam to the legendary Carthago Z!
