CSI5*-W Kingsland Oslo Horse Show 2016

An amazing show weekend, and so proud of our team rider Solveig Fotland Newermann who rode her first CSI5* show with really great results!

22 year old Solveig Fotland Newermann and her own horse Wodka was double clear and placed 11th out of 94 participants in the CSI5* 1,40 on Friday!! The class was won by Maikel Van Der Vleuten on VDL Groep Quatro, who is out of same direct damline and family as our brood mare Batavia!

The 25th anniversary show on Saturday evening with the Comeback Cup was a huge hit! Four retired Norwegian Top riders: Morten Aasen, Marit Hegre Stranden, Princess Martha Louise and Ove Hansen, against some of todays best riders in the world…. on Norwegian Fjord Horses!!!!  But not just any Fjord Horses, and one of them was Lieroy (representing the same Equestrian Club as us) who together with his owner Mette Lothe was 5th individual in the European Championship for Fjord Horses 2016

Those charming and lovely Norwegian Fjord Horses impressed us all in action under World class riders, and I think most of us wanted to bring one home that night!!

Maikel Van Der Vleuten and Ryttergårdens Hercules were without doubt the Big Stars during KOHS 2016

Sunday was time for the first leg of the Longines FEI World Cup, which was won by the Italian Alberto Zorzi on Fair Light van’t Heike.

The mighty Casall Ask and Rolf Goran Bengtsson was double clear and ended on a 6th place in the World Cup, but most impressive was that he competed against three of his own sons in this class, where himself and two of his sons made it to the Jump Off! Casello Z placed 4th, Casall Ask placed 6th and Chesall Zimequest placed 12th!

Really happy and proud to have a beautiful young mare after this legendary power house of a Stallion!!!
