Batavia’s sire Calido I’s offsprings are known worldwide as aestethic, athletic and very impressive and rideable showjumpers.
Calido himself led the jumping ranking of his stallion performance test, and won 25 “young horse” competitions, and being qualified for the Bundeschampionat finals were one of them. His extraordinary breeding value has secured him a position on top, and is proven by his progenys success. In the Olympic Games in Hong Kong 2008 Calido I was represented with three offsprings, and he have more then 50 licensed sons.

On Batavia’s dam side we find the powerful stallion Corrado I, who had a spectacular showjumping career with Franke Sloothaak, and as a sire Corrado I was again a huge success and sired many top showjumpers on international level. Perhaps his most spectacular and renown son is Clinton, who was individualli 4th at the Olympic Games in Athens, and second behind Shutterfly at Aachen in 2005. Clinton is also sire to the outstanding jumping sire Cornet Obolensky.

Besides the powerful stallions in her pedigree, Batavia’s damline is just as interesting!
Batavia’s dam Maxine (Cosma Shiva) competed 1,45 level and was sold to to the US.
2nd dam M- Lareen competed 1,40 level herself, and produced not less then six international showjumpers from 1,40 – 1,60 level – Caliskan jumping 1,60 level and World Cups with Candice King (USA), and Fine Kiss who competed at 1,60 level with Gilbert Böckmann (GER), and in the World Equestrian Games final in Jerez, and European Championships several times with Tatiana Freytag Von Loringhoven, AUT). Fine Kiss herself also produced several top sport horses, such as VDL Groep Quatro jumping 1,50 level with Maikel Van Der Vleuten, (NED) and VDL Groep Alexia Z with Leopold Van Asten, (NED)

Batavias 3rd dam is the legendary Gofine, dam to numerous top competition horses on 1,40 – 1,60 level, and she is also dam to the famous Holsteiner breeding matador Contender!!!

We are very proud and excited to have this extraordinary mare in our breeding program.
